$62 trillion.
You pay for it.

Medicare for All: $34 trillion.

Ortiz wants to eliminate private health insurance for 150 million Americans and replace it with a single government plan. Independent estimates put the cost at $34 trillion over ten years.

That's more than the entire federal budget. She says she'll pay for it with "taxes on the wealthy." The math doesn't work.

Green New Deal: $16 trillion.

Ortiz wants to ban all fossil fuels in 10 years and rebuild the entire energy grid. Her own estimate: $16.3 trillion. Outside analysts say the real cost could be double that.

She has never explained what happens to the 6.5 million Americans who work in the oil, gas, and coal industries.

Free college: $2.2 trillion.

Ortiz wants the government to pay for every student's college tuition and cancel all existing student debt. Cost: $2.2 trillion.

That includes paying off the loans of students who went to elite private universities while working families who skipped college get nothing.

Federal jobs guarantee: $6.8 trillion.

Ortiz has proposed that the government guarantee a job to every single American who wants one, at $15 an hour with benefits. Every economist who has looked at it says it's unworkable.

The cost over ten years: $6.8 trillion. Who manages it? She doesn't say.

What it means for you.

If Ortiz got everything she wanted, the average American family would pay an estimated $12,800 more per year in taxes. Your grocery bill goes up. Your gas goes up. Your paycheck goes down.

She calls it "investment." You call it going broke.

$62 trillion

She promises everything.
You pay for everything.
